Social Media Revolution Must Continue

I find it amazing that there is a call for Facebook and Twitter to sensor it’s promotion of revolution. This will be an ongoing story as I collect sources to try and find the gestalt.

When the Social Media Platform Twitter was being used to start, stoke and promote the overthrow of governments in Africa and the Middle East, the media were ecstatic and called it the Twitter revolution.

Moldova (2009)
Iran Elections (2009)
Tunisia (2010)
Egypt (2011)
Ukraine (2013)

When the same thing happens in American politics, it’s a scandal that Facebook and Twitter now need to fix.

In countries like Egypt, Tunisia, and Yemen, rising action plans such as protests made up of thousands, have been organized through social media such Facebook and Twitter. “We use Facebook to schedule the protests” an Arab Spring activist from Egypt announced “and [we use] Twitter to coordinate, and YouTube to tell the world.”

Now it seems that all of this is coming to a head with Western powers openly questioning Social Media accuracy and influence in Politics. To do so, what is being called into question is “advertising influence” and “fate news”. In Kuwait,
